Founded on the principles of simplicity, prayer, and charity, the Mudiwa Hood Foundation is a beacon of light for the impoverished, the orphaned, and the marginalized. We believe in the inherent dignity and worth of every individual, and we are dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty by providing holistic support to those in need.
Our story begins with a vision — a vision of a world where every person, regardless of their circumstances, has the opportunity to thrive and succeed. Inspired by this vision, Mudiwa Hood, a renowned philanthropist and humanitarian, established the foundation with the aim of making a tangible difference in the lives of the less fortunate.

We work with partners that can help to affect change globally, and then scale solutions to a local level — so every gift travels from a global act of generosity to a warm meal, a paid school place or a bottle of medicine in someone's hands.
Our Areas of Focus

Education for Children
School fees, books and mentorship so every child can learn, dream and build a future of their own.
Food for Hungry People
Mealie meal, cooking oil and staple hampers delivered to families facing hunger across Zimbabwe.
Homes for the Homeless
Shelter and dignity — safe places where the displaced can rest, recover and start again.
Medicine for the Poor
Access to essential medicine and care for those who cannot afford treatment when illness strikes.
